UNESCO World Heritage site, Bhaktapur Durbar Square is located in Bhaktapur, also known as Bhadgaon. It is 13 km towards west of Kathmandu . it is the plaza in fron of the royal palace of old Bhaktapur Kingdom, 1400 m above sea level. On 25th April 2015, earthquake damaged many buildings.
It is one of the most famous tourist place inside the valley. Major attractions around the square are temples and statues which are:
